You can find the SDK and the guideline in your "Steam folder\steamapps\common\Assetto Corsa\SDK\Audio" path. If it is so, the best place to start is here: I just want to learn how to work within the data files and where to find help doing that. You are asking for a sound fix for a mod that has all the issues SeriousSpy so clearly described. If this isn't the correct place for this type of difficulty, could you please direct me to the right place? Has anyone worked up a fix for the sounds? I believe these cars are relatively old as sims go. If I race these cars driving the Lotus 49, I cannot my own car over the noises coming from the others. but I just can't pick out a specific type. I have tried to determine if the engine sounds are off, or the wind sounds, or the tire sounds. Its a nice selection of cars, a Brabham, BRM, Cooper Matra-Ford, Honda and etc. These get packaged up as "1967 Legends" in Assetto Corsa's Brands List. Recently I down loaded 8 F1 cars from the late 1960's. I'm new to Sims and very new to Assetto Corsa. Tedd60ga eredeti hozzászólása:Please be gentle if I'm in the wrong place. No other member of that forum replied in either the positive or negative. Please note that in over 15 days that was the only response to my request. That was totally ignored.įrom the above reply on the official AC Forum, my takeaway is that those cars were not created there and AC don't want anybody to bring them up. I tried to point out that "/downloads/grandprix-1967/" might be the origin of the cars in question, but I downloaded them from Assetto Corsa Database. They would need to revisit their volume balancing, and improve the quality of their work. The correct place to ask for a resolution to your problems would be to contact the source of the mods. There may not be as much attention to detail, production quality, compliance with similar cars, or even maintenance to the latest versions of the game. Regarding your troubles with the sounds, it is a trend for these types of mods to be produced in a less than satisfactory manner. In the official Assetto Corsa forums, we aim to create work from scratch, and discourage (by official forum rules) the supporting of the aforementioned type of work that infringes copyright for a monetary gain. These are unlicensed products and their permissions are undetermined. Unfortunately, this website is known to take licensed content from other games and package it into some type of product for sale. The mods you are speaking of are from the following website: Sign up at the official AC forums and speak to modders there or ask for some advice on modding. Check the EULA for Assetto Corsa but it is widely known that Kunos allows mods to be made and sold for AC- its part of the plan of AC making it moddable. This is important to me because, although I am very happy with how AC is working, AC does not "officially" have a lot of the cars (CAN-AM, Trans-AM, Old (1960's-70's) F1 cars) that I am interested in. Where can I go to find information on adjusting the things contained in folders found in the DATA files of these cars? I'm very new to this hobby and would like to learn to repair/modify/adjust the cars found at AC DB. I find much of content (cars, tracks) to be found there either can't be down loaded at all or performs very performs poorly. If this is not an official AC function, just how are they legally using that name and posting content allegedly for AC? I've contacted AC about the content found here and they don't seem to have anything to do with it. From the name, I assumed that it was an official function of Assetto Corsa, and that Assetto Corsa was monitoring and editing the content posted there for download.Īpparently this is not the case.
